Shining Force II. The first game that I played with an emulator. It's really hard to decide which one is better between Shining Force and Shining Force II. Shining Force II gets rid of the chapter system, making it more open-ended. At one place, it's even possible to decide between which of two battles to take first, which makes this much more of a true RPG than the other early Shining Force games.
If you played the original Shining Force, you really need to play this game. It is really addicting, and it's the newest Shining game that you can get easily and legally (well, RotDD is easy to find for free, but buy the game. It's still in production, so it isn't really right to download it, even if you already own it).
You need a SEGA Genesis emulator to play this game.
